  1. Rapid Risk Assessment & Prioritization (Leadership, Risk Management): First, I’d convene a rapid session with Product and Business Analysts to thoroughly understand the new PII fields, their classification, and the intended data flows (creation, storage, transmission, access). Concurrently, I'd engage my senior QA engineers to perform a quick, focused risk assessment. We'd identify the most critical PII elements and their highest-impact vulnerabilities (e.g., weak encryption, insecure access controls, logging of PII). This allows us to prioritize our manual testing efforts on the "crown jewels" of sensitive data, focusing on areas with the highest impact and likelihood of failure.

  2. Targeted Execution Strategy & Delegation (Coordination, Mentorship): Given limited capacity, we cannot test everything exhaustively. Our strategy will be:

    • Focus: Develop targeted manual test cases specifically for data protection mechanisms.
