This defines our testing scope.

Next, I'd conduct an internal team sync to assess current progress and capacity. We'd map our lean manual QA team's skills against the identified priority areas. My strategy for resource allocation across phases would be:

  1. Prioritization & Focused Allocation (Dev Handoff/System Testing):

    • Phase Focus: Primarily on the newly developed, highest-priority features and areas impacted by last-minute changes. Testers with domain expertise in these areas are assigned.
    • Delegation: Each tester gets clear ownership of specific high-priority modules. For less critical but still required areas, we might employ risk-based testing, focusing on happy paths and critical integrations, or even consider a "spot check" approach if time is extremely limited.
