We'd explore available sources: existing anonymized production-like data, collaborating with development for seed data scripts, or targeted manual creation for unique edge cases.
    • Shared Responsibility: I’d work with Dev to leverage existing data utilities or create necessary data generation scripts efficiently.
  3. Execution, Coordination & Risk Mitigation:
    • Agile Coordination: Daily stand-ups would focus on data readiness, test execution blockers, and progress. We'd track Test Execution Progress by feature, clearly highlighting data-blocked areas.
    • Mitigation Tactics: For data not immediately available, we'd implement tactical mitigations: using mocks/stubs for upstream dependencies to unblock downstream testing; focusing on incremental testing with partially available data; and ensuring critical paths get full coverage first.
    • Metrics for Decisions: Beyond execution progress, I'd monitor Requirement Coverage to ensure high-priority features are adequately covered. If data gaps persist, I'd assess the potential impact on Defect Leakage Rate for key functionalities.
