  1. Immediate Assessment & Triage:

    • Impact Analysis: Collaborate with Product Managers and Business Analysts to understand the business impact and user journeys affected. Simultaneously, work with Developers to gauge the technical complexity and blast radius of the defects.
    • Prioritization: Confirm the criticality and priority of each defect. Use this to determine if the release must be halted or if a workaround/partial release is viable, leveraging discussions around Requirement Coverage to ensure core functionalities are protected.
  2. Cross-functional Collaboration & Communication:
