Deep Dive & Initial Analysis: I begin by thoroughly dissecting all available documentation: user stories, wireframes, acceptance criteria, existing business process flows, and previous defect trends. I critically question assumptions, identify ambiguities, and map user personas against expected journeys. This includes reviewing any non-functional requirements that might imply functional behaviors.

  2. Strategic Manual Execution:

    • Exploratory Testing: This is my primary manual technique. I don't just follow test cases; I actively explore the application from various user perspectives, "what if" scenarios, and negative paths. This means testing beyond the happy path, inputting invalid data, and observing system reactions. I focus on understanding the system's purpose rather than just its stated features.
