    • Engage PMs and BAs to clarify critical user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria. Identify the absolute "must-haves" versus "nice-to-haves" for the release.
    • Collaborate with Developers to understand areas of recent change, complexity, and potential instability.
    • Leverage historical data, looking at modules with high Defect Leakage Rate or frequent Defect Reopen Rate to identify high-risk areas susceptible to new issues.
  2. Risk-Based Test Prioritization (Without Code):

    • P1 (Critical Path/Core Functionality): These are features that directly impact business revenue, legal compliance, or render the application unusable if broken (e.g., login, payment gateway, core data CRUD operations). These receive maximum attention.
